Consumers may see slow or no carryover ignition to the outer port ring and popping noises coming from the burner.

On Series-5 Built-in oven products, the consumer might perceive that the appliance is turning on automatically or will not turn off.

The consumer may experience that the cooking cycle on Series 5 Built-in Oven is not getting canceled and the keypad is getting stuck. The only option to come out of it is to cycle Power.

The consumer may experience the following concerns: Door will not close. The door is misaligned. Heat is escaping from the unit.

Cooling Fan Noise Improvement

Cooling fan noise is to be expected, and cooling fans regularly run cycles for extended periods even after an oven is turned off and no longer heating. In certain circumstances, some consumers may experience an unexpected buzzing noise when the cooling fan is on.

In certain circumstances, a consumer’s oven may not reach or maintain the preheat temperature at the time the preheat tone sounds. Consumers may experience low temperatures at the Preheat completion tone when using a conventional oven cavity. This is because of the short preheat time (Example: 9 minutes to reach 350​°F​ ). Longer cooking time can be expected in Bake and Convect mode if the food is added to the oven at the completion of the tone.

In some instances, a gas range may display amber flashing lights behind the oven knobs indicating error code, and the small oven may not work or it will shut off during a cycle.

In some instances, technicians may not fully convert a KitchenAid Gas Range from natural gas to propane gas (LP).

Consumers may experience that surface burner flames are uneven, yellow, and/or noisy. This is due to low gas pressure, or LP gas does not convert properly.
