Whirlpool has identified a limited number of refrigerators with serial labels indicating the product has R134a refrigerant, when the refrigerators are actually charged with R600a refrigerant. The labeling discrepancy is only on the model/serial label inside the refrigerator compartment. The units are correctly fitted with the other required warning labels on the exterior and interior of the product and in the user and service instructions.
