Cooktop controls may have a lack of response from the capacitive touch buttons. The cooktop repeatedly removes power to the burners and may also go into an unresponsive state. If the power to the cooktop is cycled, the touch response may be temporarily restored. Fault code F717 must be present, should have at least 25 occurrences and must be in conjunction with an unresponsive or shutting down cooktop for the below repair.
