Service Bulletin Description:
If the drain system is not installed properly, the washer will not drain as designed and may siphon water out of the washer. Washers often have siphoning when the drain hose is not elevated properly or is inserted too far into the drain pipe or laundry tub. Siphoning may also occur if there is no air gap between the drain pipe and drain hose, or if the hose is sealed to the drain pipe. Often, the customer will complain of low water level in the tub, the washer is constantly filling-up, or the sound of continuous draining.
