Service Bulletin Description:
The National Electric Code was revised in 2020 to include new GFCI requirements for certain 240 V circuits. All Whirlpool appliances are fully tested and approved per the respective UL858 guidelines to ensure safe design and operation of our products. In rare instances, GFCI circuit breakers installed in compliance with the updated NEC requirements may detect a fault condition under normal operation, causing the appliance to lose power.
