F20

The ACU has detected that the main or heater relay has a short or open circuit, or that the heater has an open circuit.

 

Whirlpool Washer F20 Error Code Error Code Possible Causes

  • Verify that the heater is OK
  • Check the resistance of the heater connections (L1 and N)
  • Check the resistance of the heater (L1 and N)
  • If the heater has reduced resistance of L1 or N, replace the heater and run the Service Test Cycle
  • If the heater has an open circuit, replace the heater and the ACU
  • Check the connections on the heater and ACU and check the wires
  • If the heater and wires are OK, replace the ACU
