Suds (Foam) Detected During Wash Cycle
If the washer is unable to drain the water after the wash cycle, or unable to spin after several attempts, this error code is displayed.
Whirlpool Washer F18 Error Code Error Code Possible Causes
- Consumer used too much detergent
- Check for a problem with the pump hoses
- Check drain pump for foreign objects
- Check the electrical resistance of the drain pump
- Check pressure sensor function
- Verify that pressure hose is in good condition and properly connected to the tub and pressure sensor
- Verify that there is not a siphon problem
- Check the air trap and hose connection to pressure sensor
- Check the electrical resistance of the drain pump
- Check pressure sensor function
- The drain pump is defective.
- The drain pump or hose is blocked.
- The main control panel is defective.
- Loose wiring connection at the drain pump or main control
