Water Flow Error
After about 9 minutes, if the control has not detected that water is entering the washer, the valves are turned off and the “Water Faucet” LED turns on
The washer performs a 5 minute drain procedure to avoid flooding in case the water faucet was open, but the pressure sensor did not detect it
A second attempt at filling is performed after user presses Start/Pause again
Whirlpool Washer F01 Error Code Error Code Possible Causes
- The control is in pause mode
- Press START to restart the cycle. If water begins to fill, the cycle will run
- Water supply is not turned on
- Inlet valves are not functioning, or no water is being detected
- If there is no water in the washer
- Make sure that the water faucet is turned on fully
- Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged inlet valve filters
- Make sure water is not frozen in the inlet hoses
- Check harness connections on valves and ACU
- Verify inlet valve operation
- If there is water in the washer
- Make sure pressure hose is in good condition and properly connected to the tub and pressure sensor
- Verify that there is not a siphon problem
- Verify wire harness connections to inlet valves, pressure sensor, and ACU
- Check all hoses for possible leaks
- Verify pressure sensor function
- Check the ACU
- Check the air trap and hose connection to pressure sensor

CCU Error
Communication error within the Central Control Unit (CCU); the pump drive in CCU fails to activate; one of the main relays in the CCU fails to activate.

A power surge/drop
- Clear error code
- Unplug washer or disconnect power
- Wait 2 minutes before reconnecting power
- Verify CCU by running a short diagnostic test
Reversed polarity or mis-wire, along with open ground switches
- Clear error code
- Check the white wire on the RFI filter to ensure correct polarity. White wire needs to be toward front of washer
- Check outlet for correct polarity. To check within washer for polarity at the RFI, white to cabinet ground must be 0 V
- Check that the ground switches of the toe panel and rear panel are correctly closed
- Verify CCU by running a short diagnostic test
- If these procedures do not correct the failure, replace the CCU control
