In some instances the customer may experience no ice production.

It is possible that some consumers may experience frost, or hard ice, forming on the front area of the Refrigerator Compartment (RC). Customers may also have water pooling or evaporator drain issues leading to a no cool situation or slow ice production. These concerns have multiple potential causes and corrections.

Customers may report that the freezer light has stopped working in certain KitchenAid, Maytag, and Whirlpool French Door Bottom Mount refrigerators. In rare circumstances, the freezer LED Module and its connector may be foamed in, requiring the additional service steps below.

Some customers may observe warmer than expected temperatures in the refrigerator compartment. These temperatures may appear to be higher than the lowest UI/HMI setpoint.

It is possible consumers may call stating that their chest freezer is missing the handle

Customers may report one or more of the following symptoms: ● Warmer than expected temperatures in refrigerator compartment ● Water, frost, or ice in bottom of unit ● Frost or ice near the lower rear panel vents of the refrigerator compartment
