Electric freestanding, 30″ wall oven, 27″ wall oven, and slide-in/drop in products manufactured from May 2006 to mid-August 2006 have seen an increase in the number of inner door glass breaks. This failure may cause some concern with the customer due to a loud pop when the glass breaks, however, the breakage is not a safety issue because the broken glass is confined in the oven, and the tempered glass breaks into small, irregularily shaped granules, and not sharp slivers.
