Door Lowers Too Quickly. The door may not stay in a mid-position when partially opened, or it may fall to a fully open position without being pushed down.

Traditionally dishwashers would vent out the upper-left side of the outer panel, through a vent assembly in the inner door using a fan, through the fill funnel, and through the beach gasket located at the bottom of the inner door. Ventless dishwashers do not offer a door vent dry system and only vent through the fill funnel and beach gasket. These dishwashers dry by heating the dishes and racks. Much of this moisture will evaporate or condense on the walls and inner door, and then will run down into the sump. It is normal for some moisture to remain on the door and walls of the inner tub, and this is normal. Educating the consumer will provide the best dry performance for these dishwashers.
